I know what you mean, shit just doesn't seem plausible I suppose you have to question the intentions of Doggie Diamonds!! I've personally been lucky enough to see DJ Premier perform twice in my lifetime and it just doesn't seem to fit his energy!! I know what I choose to believe and will continue to believe, since no one else from the old Gangstarr Foundation days have spoken on this I'll continue to disbelieve!! What really went down with Gangstarr is between Guru & Preem, I personally couldn't care less right now, more dissapointed at the fact we'll never get to hear that chemistry on wax ever again!! Because of the claims I obviously felt it important to share but whether it actually bears any truth... I don't know!! To the best of my knowledge Premier has not responded to these claims, been searching for a while now with no success but as soon as, if ever there is a response I shall post it up!!!
Alotta heads were lacing spliffs with rock back in the day - it wasn't uncommon. There's some cool doco's on youtube 'bout crack in the 80's with all sorts of hip hop names talking on it / admitting to doing it themselves. Doing that is pretty far away from being a strung out crackhead though.
Weak interview makes for weak answers and the spreading of misinformation.. and somebody trynna sell DVD's
I don't know what to make of this, has premo answered any of these rumours?

ReplyDeleteAfter watching this interview, I find it more likely that dude in the video was smoking crack and not Premier.
